After the deceased died, the appellant was installed as caretaker of the land in the possession of the deceased at his death. The appellant was later expelled from the property by the respondent and her sisters. He claimed to be entitled to a share of the estate.
Held: The appellant was not entitled to any share of the land, his sole function being to look after it and manage it.
