Plaintiff brought an action in Primary Court seeking, inter alia, to have the register of business names amended.
Held: Under section 7 of the Business Names (Registration) Ordinance, Cap. 213, the amendment of the register of business names is a matter “purely within the province of the High Court.” The Primary Court had no jurisdiction to deal with this cause, and its order was properly quashed by the District Court.
