Bosco @ Lucas s/o Sungura v. R., Crim. App. 341-M-67, 2/6/67, Cross, J.
Accused was convicted of arson. The evidence for the prosecution was that the appellant was heard by two witnesses to utter threats to burn the complainant’s house almost immediately after the house was seen to be on fire and the appellant was observed walking away from it.
Held: This was sufficient to support the appellant’s conviction if the magistrate believed the testimony of the witnesses. Conviction was affirmed.
