Held: A wife owes her husband a duty to assist him with his gainful word, whether it be cultivation, shop keeping, or any other lawful engagement. “Absent a contribution of capital by the wife, or some special agreement between husband and wife, the divorced wife will not be treated as a partner in the man’s enterprises.
