The procedure to remove the Chief Justice from power depends on the circumstances leading for his removal. For instance, if he cannot execute his duties for any reason, the president is empowered under Article 118(4)(c) of the Constitution to appoint acting Chief Justice. But if it appears where his is guilt of misconduct, he can be removed from office by following procedure of removing other judges from the office as per Article 120(5).
