The DPP exercises his powers in the following ways:
a). He may in writing delegate his powers to law officers, State Attorney or parliamentary draft man see section 92 of the Criminal Procedure Act; and
b). He may instruct officers of his department verbally as a matter of office routine to exercise some of his powers; and
c). He may appoint public prosecutors under section 95 of the Criminal Procedure Act for the purposes of any criminal proceedings instituted on behalf of the Republic.
