Leading questions are defined in section 150 of the Evidence Act, 1967. Leading question refers to question suggesting the answers which the person putting them, wishes or expects to receive. Are questions asked to a witness in a manner that suggests the answer sought by the questioner or are the ones that assume the existence of disputed facts to which the witness is to testify.
