Easement refers to servitude. It is a right enjoyed by the owner of land over the lands of the other, such as rights of way, rights of light, right of support and right to flow of air or water. Easements are created by express grant or prescription. Easement does confer proprietary rights on its owner. Easements are governed by the provision of part XI of Land Act No. 4/1999.
Note: Analogous rights are governed by same party, they mean entry order made under section 170 and access order made under section 148 of the Land Act, No. 4/1999.
