Provisional liquidator refers a person appointed by the court to conduct the compulsory winding up of a company pending the appointment of a liquidator. He is appointed before winding up order. Appointment of Provisional Liquidator is governed by section 183 of Company Act, Cap. 212.
Note: Provisional Liquidator is a person appointed by the Court after presentation of a winding up petition. He is appointed before the making of winding up order.
