Basic constitutional rights.

Basic rights are provided for under Articles 12 -24 of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania. The basic rights provided under the aforementioned Articles, include: 

1). Right to life, as per Article 14; 

2). Equality before the law, as per Article 13; 

3). Equality of men, as per Article 12; 

4). Right to work, as per Article 22; 

5). Right to own property, as per Article 24; 

6). Freedom of expression, as per Article 18.
