When may a plaint be rejected.



The plaint  may be  rejected in the  cases provided for  under  Order VII,  r. 11  The  of Civil  Procedure Code;  thus,

i).  Where the Plaint  does not disclose  a cause of  action;

ii).  Where the  relief claimed is under  valued and the Plaintiff  on being required  by  the Court to  correct the valuation within a specified time  fails to do so; and

iii).  Where  it  appears from the Plaint  that  the suit  is barred by  any law.
