A trustee in bankruptcy is a person whom the property of a bankrupt is vested in trust for the creditors. His duty is to discover, realize and distribute it among the creditors. He is also required to examine the bankrupt’s property, accounts etc, to investigate profits made by the creditors, and to admit, reject or reduce them according to circumstances.
